March has started like a beast. We have had quite an interesting and busy week filled with everything from sending our family out to the great north on their own, to marathon training, to finger injuries, to finger-print scanners, to celebrating some of friends as they turned one year older. In fact, this might have been one of our busiest weeks in Saigon in quite sometime. We have had so much going on that three nights this week we stayed up past 10:00 pm!
Spending more time out and about in HCMC has reminded us just how much we adore and appreciate the city that we live in (minus the stomach-churning, vomit-inducing smell we still get off the canal as we run and bootcamp at 4:15 am!). It has also reminded us that our days getting to call Saigon "home" are quickly passing by. So, we should continue on exploring, enjoying, and eating our way through this town while we still have the time -- even if that means more "late nights" in our future.

Whizzing through a round-a-bout on the way to meet the Pierce family, enjoying the many statues of Ho Chi Minh City. |

A gorgeous view from the top of a building downtown looking over the Saigon River. (Why we were in this building is another whole blog post of its own). |

Adam's basketball injury. This is his pinkie looking good. The night he hurt it, it was about 4 times that size. |

Hanging out with friends on Friday night. Yes, we were in bed by 9:30 this time -- thank goodness. |

At a new beer hall that brews Czech beer. They also serve said beer with roasted peanuts and smoked string cheese. We don't know which was better -- the beer or the snacks! |
