Micro Machine

One of our best friends in Vietnam is a man named Jimmy.  Jimmy is from Southern California and found himself trying out life in Vietnam, just like we did.  Adam and Jimmy have classrooms across the hall from one another and have quickly bonded over their love of basketball, eating any type of food, and bad hip-hop music.

Recently, Jimmy went on a quest to find (and purchase) the bike of his dreams while living in HCMC.  He was quite excited to find a moped of his desire listed on Craigslist, Saigon.  The other day, Jimmy drove his new bike to work and not only let it be the subject of a photo shoot but he also allowed Adam to try the bike out.  There is not much in life that makes Adam feel tall so this bike, when he sat on it and his knees scrapped the cement, gave Adam the best gift ever -- for 2.2 minutes, Adam was a giant!
Jimmy rolling into work on his new toy -- a Honda '67 (aptly named for a 1967 Honda).

It's tiny and looks odd -- part of the allure.

Adam loving the magic of Jimmy's bike -- sorry Flowanda!
