We have received a lot of critical feedback lately. It seems that people are not happy with the absence of our blog. They are not satisfied with our "ending" the blog talking about a random girl giving us a random phone number. The people are speaking and when they speak, we listen!!
So, in short order, here is what is going on with our lives as of late:
1) After a long, drawn-out, soul-crushing battle, we collected our pay and closed a chapter with the most horrible school we have EVER worked for. The only time we have to mention the three letters of our school together are when we sing the ABC's. Amen and Hallelujah.
2) With many tears and "lasts," we packed our belongings, said goodbye to the friends we had made (don't cry for us, Bank Teller Lady) and moved out of HCMC. Our adventure at the true latitude 10 is done (for now) and our lives are forever changed from our experience in a positive way.
3) We arrived in our home state of Washington to enjoy a summer (if you can call rain, clouds, and a high of 55 degrees summer), pulled on our wool socks and sweatshirts, and began our much needed 2.5 months of vacation time with family. So far we have had to remember what it means to run in long pants, caught up on pop-culture, consumed copious amounts of wine and beer (sorry about the recycling guys), and adjusted to life without fish sauce.
4) We are deep underway for preparing for our next international adventure -- this time at Latitude 29. Yes, we can now officially announce that as of August, we will be living in Kuwait and working at a VERY reputable international school.
So, with those updates, now we can post about our crazy summer adventures and keep all of our readers and followers content and happy. Please don't worry. Latitude10 is back online.
